Hi I'm George, I'm prolly older than most here. I've always been single. I think for the first time I hear ppl who seem most like me. I'm not anti-social, just don't feel the need to go hang out all the time. I've often hoped that someone from the mother ship would find me and beam me back to where-ever the hell I belong. It sure don't seem to be this place. I've just read the blog that says Serotonin and Oxycotin are related to this socializtion issue. Anybody know what I should eat/avoid to try a self-treatment? WTF do I have to lose now neway.

I'm old and I'm here. (Don't let my mental age fool you.)

I can't advise you about what to do or not do for treatment, but I don't think you need to be beamed anywhere else. You might try exploring Wrong Planet. There's a lot to explore here. You might find spots here where you feel you belong and people with whom you feel comfortable.

I hope you find good information, inspiration, companionship, and comfort here. And some good humor, too.

Hi and welcome. I'm one of the ahem older gang. I don't know of anything you can eat to increase oxytocin. There is a pheromone cologne you can buy that contains oxytocin that is suppose to make people around you friendlier and affect the mood of the wearer too. But whether it works or not I don't know.

For serotonin, you might want to research things like Melatonin, 5-HTP and Gaba and see if those might affect the serotonin problem.
