Hi everyone!

I'm Molly — I’m originally from the U.S. but currently living in the Netherlands. I'm autistic (diagnosed as a teenager, and now in my mid-twenties) and really appreciate spaces like this where neurodivergent people can connect and be ourselves.

I probably spend way too much time reading (but hey, there are worse habits), and I’m a big animal person — the fluffier, the better. I love to foster kittens especially.

I’ve spent a lot of time working with students and young adults in support roles, so I really enjoy being in communities where people can share what they’re going through and help each other out.

Looking forward to getting to know people here!

In my view, quality of life depends mostly on how many cats you have. Although when my aunt's cats came to live with us, my cat made it clear that she did not agree.

Our dachshund wouldn't allow cats on his turf unfortunately and my sister's dogs even less so especially Misty! But I've house sat many cats and I like them.

IMO a nice habit, or just harmless at worst. For sure far better from breaking keyboards while sweating in crappy FPS games

You wrote that you have Asperger's Syndrome. So do I. I am an Aspie.
One thing that is not normally talked about is that we have some unique skills that other people do not possess.
Most people have +s and -s. We have things we are good at and things that we are poor at.
But some Aspies have ++s and --s. And some of us are off the charts with +++++s and -----s.
The secret in life is to use your +s to overcome your -s.
