Sorry, I misread your post! Ooops!

How do you feel about this aspergers
situation? And are you given support
by your loved ones? or are they denying
it? This has been mentioned by others.

Sorry about the mis-read!

Well as soon as Shala was diagnosed with autism shala's dad (who i never married) left. Otherwise I am very well supported by family :) At some point asperger's can be hard to deal with, Shala has a severe case of it so she needs lots of attention.

Did her dad find this to be a negative reflection
of himself? It sounds like it!

I am glad that your family is supportive of you!
Family is a important element in one's life!

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

Hi, welcome!

It's interesting that your daughter has been diagnosed with autism considering it is more common in boys.

I hope you enjoy posting here, and if you'd like to express your opinion, please let us know.

Yep, there's not many of us girls with autism. Funny, I still think of myself being a girl, even though I'm 28 (I'm just so immature).
Welcome, hope you have lots of laughs here. :)
