I just found this place when the OS X Widget was released. I don't know how it's been hiding all this time.

Hello, my name's Wiley, I'm about to start my third year of college, though I'm in the middle of transferring from the University of Chicago to the University of Pittsburgh.

I first found out about Asperger's last May, and was diagnosed formally last September. Since then I've started Odds & Friends, an Aspie social group at UofC, and the website [url]AskAnAspie.com[/url] I've been involved with some political stuff, including organizing a protest of Cure Autism Now's Chicago fundraiser, but for the most part I work with parents and parents' groups to help them understand the Aspie side of things.

I thought I'd have more to say in this post when I started it, but it appears I don't. So I suppose I'll see you all in the other forums.

I love your AskAnAspie Site! I read though the FAQ and found it very helpful. I know I'll be referring other parents there.

Please consider popping into the parents forum as new questions come up.

I think it's great that you are involved in an AS social group. It is fascinating to realize what a person with AS is like once you become familiar with it. A number of us are here during the day, so if you want to express your opinion about anything, feel free!

Why would you want to cure a creative process
of thinking that most wouldn't have?
