Hello. I'm Cade and I'm new to this forum. Some people may know me from the former Aspergia forum or from Aspie Hangout. I have AS and have chronic depression. I am technically self-dx'd with AS, although I have the independant input of my former psychiatrist and a previous psychotherapist, both of whom concurred that AS was the most likely underlying cause for my depression.

I'm 34, female, have BA in music and did graduate studies in philosophy and theology. My interests are wiritng, music, reading, visual art (painting/drawing), science and Sci Fi TV. I'm still feeling out this forum, so I don't know how much I'll be around, although I promise to behave myself. So far I am impressed at how active it is. Unfortunately the color scheme is a bit much for my eyes to take for very long.

You can actually change the color scheme to an extent. Go to "Your Account." That's wear such options are, I think if my memory serves me correctly. I have a desert sunset.

Welcome, Cade!! LowFreq50 is right, you can change the color scheme on the boards. I'm pretty sure there's one in grey tones.

Thank guys. I've tried all three color schemes, and they don't change the blue/green background of the threads - that's what's bothering me. I can only look at about two ir three threads before my eyes hurt and I start feeling queasy. Oh well.
