I think the point behind posting the DSM-IV-TR labels, setting up scoring systems that people would reply to, etc, are part of an effort to show that the overly simplistic and facile 'list of symptoms' are too superficial to say much about the people who 'self-assess' on the questions, without knowing about their backgrounds, trying to challenge the self-assessment with questionnaires and questions that seek to 'triangulate' the responses, plus numerous indepth clinaical/psychologicial interviews.
In the UK, practically every Crimmo crawling on the surface of this earth is let off the hook with a diagnosis of APD. Interestingly though, if I were to commit a crime, I would be systematically stamped on and smashed down.
