I just became aware of my syndrome about a year ago. But I have been told that I have been diagnosed at a very young age. I go to a school, K-12, for students with moderate to severe learning difficulties with I.Q. scores at or above average. In addition to AS, I do have mixed reading disorders when comprehension and inferencing come in place.

I am currently a senior in high school. But I am going to apply to a boarding school for post graduate (PG) year for further college preparation.

This is just a brief introduction to me on the Asperger's side. I am just beginning to open up. I read the New York Times article about Heather Kuzmich. She proved to me how an Aspie can be successful and that we should not judge other people based on their social differences or other idiosyncrasies.
