I've browsed casually for awhile now, but I joined to keep in contact with people like myself.

For the longest time, I avoided others with Asperger's because I was afraid of seeing myself in them, but I've come to terms with my disorder and met some really cool people at a Meetup for Asperger's the other night.

I was diagnosed at 16, not TOO, too late, and have secondary OCD and anxiety disorders. Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

I'm glad that you decided to "take the plunge" [I just had to say that because of your screen name lol] and enter the WrongPlanet! No longer shall you be isolated...but embrace your differences and have a great time interacting here with many like yourself!

Aswell as you, vessel...Aspergers has given me a secondary disorder...depression. I was diagnosed as having Aspergers at 15...so like you said, not TOO late.
