Hey! I'm Tierney. I've been here before, but I'm new as a member. I'm 15, I live in NorCal, I love music (Especially Evanescence), I play the drums, I'm a girl, I hate school, and that's about as normal as I get. I'm also really shy and sarcastic and have cried myself to sleep more times than I can count. I'll try to hold back on the sarcasm though. I write alot of poetry too. Me and my twin sister Schuyler have always been weirdo-nocturnal-outcast-loner-freaks, and people never seem to get our humor. I've never really had a good friend. I've also had a really hard time keeping any friends I happen to get. I have a few now, but I also have a "friend" who was supposedly my best friend over the summer, then came to my school, betrayed me, made me feel like crap, tried to use me, etc. and alot more stuff. I'm sick of his crap, his lies, and of my own freaking family taking his side on everything. All he's ever done for me was make my life miserable. I would totally ditch him, but as angry as he makes me, I don't want to hurt his/anybody's feelings. The whole thing is worse and more complicated than it sounds. Anyway, I haven't been officially diagnosed with Aspergers, but me (and Schuyler) are both pretty darn sure we have it. I have been diagnosed with OCD, Depression, and Social Anxiety though. Yep. I don't know what else to say, but if you have any questions or anything, I'd be happy to talk to anybody. :bigsmurf: (Sorry for my total lack of writing skills at the moment. It's past midnight and I'm tired.)

Hi and welcome to the Aspie community

I'm also a twin had no idea at your age about AS that is, wish I had, as still can relate and remember back the times I cried for what seemed like no reason, emotional release I call it now

15 - is a very difficult age anyway...
Quote: "Kids with Asperger's (already) have difficulty making sense of the world around them, so if you throw in puberty ... it's even a more difficult time," Gatrost

Things do get easier and understanding really helps...

I now have my own 14 year old son, diagnosed with NVL and crosses over into Aspergers !
He is really fine with being on the spectrum now he understands, the only real problem he has, probably like you and your twin is society in general

Hi TuTu, welcome aboard!

Dont worry, in 20 years everything that bothers you will pan out to a concievable addressable concept. Until then, you have all the color and brightness of the world to enjoy in your spare time of being completely confused.

And now you have somewhere to go about it.

Hi Tierney

welcome to WP.

I play the drums too! Well...used to in a marching band until I got kicked out because I played everything by ear and couldn't read music
I write poetry also.

Yep, school is hard I agree. The good news is, it doesn't last forever!

I hope you enjoy posting here.

Thanks everybody!! ! :D So, you guys don't mind that I haven't actually been diagnosed with it? I already seem to fit in better here. Nowhere else are you allowed to have threads about things like rainbows and koosh balls...

Oh yes. How could I have forgotten? I LOVE animals too. I currently have 4 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats (That we bottlefed), 2 birds, and 2 other birds that we're fostering. 8)
