Howdy... You guys can call me McGuinness, I'm eCautious so yeah. I honestly have no idea if I have Aspergers or not, but eh I've read about it off and on for the last couple of years and decided that there is a pretty decent chance, and I would love to educate myself more on the topic. I match so many descriptions of AS but at the same time I've never seen a doctor about it, or talked to a psychologist about it or anyone else who is well educated on the matter.

I'm 20 years old... Have a little bit of the ol' ADD I suppose. I've also had some problems with anxiety and depression over the years but its all cool... I've always had difficulty fitting in in social situations, and on that same level I definitely developed quite slowly, and am still far behind my peers. Either way though I'm glad I signed up here, look forward to some open minded discussion and hope to meet some people a bit more like myself, since people as weird as I am seem to be relatively rare.

Also, I'm a cross between an INTJ and INTP so y'know that might tell you a bit about me right there. So hows it going WrongPlanet?

edit - And Flying Spaghetti Monster rocks my socks, but I'm agnostic with christian based beliefs

Hi McGuinness! You seem similar to myself in several respects. How long did it take you to compose your post?

Probably a good 15 minutes... I'll start to say something, rephrase it or change my mind about saying it altogether... and then it depends on whether I'm willing to go with that impulse to say something or erase something. I'm fully aware of my impulses and the things I do but the outcome or my understanding of them is usually inconsistent. I want to edit this post right now but I'll go ahead and post it.

Have you been diagnosed with AS, or what do you consider yourself to be?

Yes, I was diagnosed when I was young.
