Hi, I'm 29 and just joined this forum. I'm not diagnosed, but suspected I might have aspergers for the last few years. I didn't do great in school (except for *my* subjects), but was able to focus on tech and start a good career.

My problem is social interaction, I have a really hard time making friends, especially girlfriends. I didn't date until I was 25, and even that was sort of an unusual situation, I didn't care cause I just wanted to date. Since then I've only had one girlfriend for a few months, and every other relationship lasts just weeks.

I just got ditched this week and I'm having the hardest time dealing with it. The OCD in me wants to keep calling/texting/IMing but that's never worked in the past so I left just one message and I'm hoping she'll come around. I might start a separate thread, for now I'm just down.

Sometimes I feel I'm making an excuse for myself with aspergers, maybe I'm just unpopular. Either way, it's just the way I am, I wouldn't want pills, but could use a little help normalizing I think.

I have trouble getting along with people, as this is the way it seems, they love me, find me charming and funny, or they find me, obnoxious and anoyying, it blows... i've have girlfriends, but not that I'm older, it's hard to find someone that will accept me, as I'm 30, women like guys who have stuff going for them, I don't have much

I swear, sometimes I just want to move away and start over. I just feel like everyone treats me like crap and I'm getting sick of it. I am just Mr Reliable whenever anybody needs or wants anything, but I just never get it in return.

Why do girls do this where they just break contact when they think you like them too much, OMG he's nice to me, better run, WTF. It's happened to me year after year, they act like it's the worst thing in the world if you like them. I'm even careful to not say how much I really like someone at this point, cause I don't want to scare them off.
