"Hi, I'm new"

Seemed like the appropriate thread title, given the forum's description.

So, hi, I'm Jake Weisz, I'm a fairly Weisz guy. The pun has been done to death since the day I was born, so I'm kinda used to it. I dare you all to come up with one I haven't seen before.

I'm 20, live in the Chicago area, diagnosed Asperger's Syndrome (finally), after seven years of my parents letting a psychiatrist shove me full of everything from Adderall to Zoloft (The A to Z of psychopharmacology!) Most of it messed me up pretty badly, and it took me a couple to recover from the effects of all that crud, and some of the damage it's done will probably never go away completely.

I work in a library, shelving books, ensuring everything is in absolutely perfectionate order. My obsession/narrow interest deal would have to be Star Trek, I am a full-on convention-going uniform-wearing Trekkie. Although since the end of mainstream Trek on television, I've picked up a wider variety of SciFi, mainly Stargate and Firefly.

Um... let's see. This forum looks insanely large and unwieldy, I'm not exactly sure where to start, so this board seemed as good a place as any.
