Hello! I'm new to the site! I'm a 20 year old college student and I'm unsure whether or not I have Asperger's Syndrome. Yet, whether or not I do have AS, I am quite fascinated with the syndrome and with psychology in general.
Sometimes I'm uncomfortable when in groups of people and I get tired when socializing for too long but people say I socialize well and I do make eye contact. However, I have a whole slew of sensory issues; I'm hypersensitive to EVERYTHING: sounds, tastes, smells, touches, lights, etc. I don't like it when people touch me, I can't stand loud music, I'm an extremely picky eater, and other similar things make me think I might have AS or something similar. Perhaps I just have Sensory Integration Dysfunction or whatever the correct term is. I also have two "intense interests:" Shakespeare and psychology.
What do you guys think? Whatever the case, I'd love to find my place on the site and possibly make some friends.

The only way to find out for sure if you have AS or not is to go and see a doctor who knows what AS is. Either way, your welcome here.

Hello, Foxman! "Southpaw" is a slang term for someone who is left-handed, derived from baseball (and maybe boxing too, I'm not sure), because when a lefty pitches, there's a shadow to the south of the field.

I too am 20 and in college (sort of). If you are unsure, and you are happy with your life, there is really no point in getting a "label".
I'd like to meet some interesting people on this site as well.
