Hello,
I just joined the forum although I've been lurking for a few weeks. I'm a school psychologist and mother of 2. No one in my family has formally been diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder, but several of us have characteristics. I've been married for almost 7 years and I have been a psychologist for 5 years. I have not yet ruled out that my husband does not have asperger's. He is highly intelligent, has his hobbies that are more like jobs, has poor eye contact and really struggles with social norms, is a picky eater, somewhat sensitive to sound and light. In fact that more I type, the more he sounds like it. Hummm.. well anyway I wanted to say hi. I don't always have a lot to say on many topics, I'll just read them, but I wanted to be able to chime in when I wanted, so I signed up. I thought I might have some insights on special education topics or IEP topics. I am also the owner of School Psychologist Files
