Hi, everyone. Several of my relatives were considering if I might have Asperger's, and I found this forum while googling for more information. I don't know a whole lot about it, but I have a general idea and I think it's at least a possibility.
I'm 23 and unfortunately still not done with college. Part of this is because I've transferred and lost credits, but mostly it's because I've been having a lot of problems actually going to class and doing work and meeting deadlines lately, which was either a cause or a result of my being depressed and having anxiety. I think I've actually been having minor problems of this sort for most of my life (I've had rather bad test anxiety since around 3rd grade or so), and have always been fairly reclusive and fixated on my hobbies. I am doing a little better now, and am taking some time off from college to get back in stride, and I've put in a form with some people who study adult autism, so I guess I will know what's up when they see me. I think there might actually be some chance that my parents had some kind of mild Asperger's too.
Anyway, when I am not paralyzed by the thought of having to get things done on time 
I do computer programming and work on creating fantasy languages (no, I'm not the only one; check the wikipedia entry "Artistic Language"), and sometimes creative writing.

Welcome I'm a "not sure" newbie too, I'm in my 5th year of my 3 year science degree. Same thing - have trouble motivating myself often! Turns out going to class really does improve your grade... I know (kind of) where I want to go with my degree, which apparently is motivation enough for some people (strange!), but doesn't really help when I feel like sleeping in or just don't want to leave the house!

I have really bad test anxiety. Probably the reason why I failed most of my high school classes while I was there (which wasn't very long
)

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
I think I was motivated once, but I can't remember why anymore. Of course, that was back when I was at a different college, studying a different major, and if anything, I know more about where I'm going now than I did then.
It's comforting that there are people here who are having similar problems with school, though.
