I am new on this board and want to introduce myself. I was discovered to have AS in early '07. Before that, I was part of a religious congregation. It was suggested by my director that my formation be discontinued, mainly because of my lack of being able to blend in with group settings. Keeping to myself and prefering one-on-one conversations was something from which I could not get away.

However, I do enjoy being part of a group with a common interest to my own. If those around me enjoy the same thing as I do, I don't feel as uncomfortable. Being detail oriented, my favorite thing to talk about is baseball history and statistics.

I hope to share some of my experiences on this board.
