Well new to the forum. I've been coming to the chat room for I guess a couple of months now off and on. I've gotten to know a few wonderful ppl in there, so I thought I'd get involved with the forum as well.

I've known for over a year now that I have AS although not officially diagnosed.

I am thankful to Dr. Asperger for discovering and making known this "syndrome". If I still didn't know why I have so many of these characteristics/symptoms I would be going crazy (once I get an interest or curiosity I have to find all the answers).

Many issues of my life can be better dealt with now, and I can stop blaming myself for the many little things like rolling the window up every time a big truck passes on the highway or after all these years in life still not knowing how to act in a given social situation.

I'm also thankful for places like this which allow ppl like us to relate.

So here's to Dr. Asperger and Wrong Planet!!
