I have yet to create an introductory thread about myself nor do I expect I ever will. I wouldn't worry about it, despite suggestion for new members to formally announce themselves.

Not to mention, if/when I cease posting here, I don't plan to say so (it wouldn't be premeditated, my participation would likely just drift off), I'll just stop I suppose-there's no enforceable guideline to make me do otherwise. Civil/polite behavior (to some extent) during one's time here (however brief or lengthy) is what matters, in my understanding.
