I'm Shiloh-Ann, a longtime browser of this forum but first time contributor. I've decided to make my presence known, so...hey everyone!

I'm 20 and currently a second year student at York University studying Psychology/English and then going for my masters in Critical Disability studies. I also have a job conducting speaking engagements on a variety of ASD related topics for the Geneva Centre for autism. I also serve as a mentor and friend to many people with (dis)ablities.

I enjoy: Inspiring/mentoring my aspie/dev. delayed bretheren, presenting, hanging out with friends, exploring the city, listening to music (i'm a grunge/indie/alternative junkie), going to concerts (always at the front!), arts and culture, poetry, eating out, animal rights and vegetrianism (also a member of peta's street team)

And yeah, I have an official Aspie diagnosis, although I'm very uncertain if that applies to me anymore...(was 7 when I got it...)

Soooo...I'm always open to chatting/new friends. Are there any Aspies on here from Toronto/GTA? Let's get in touch!

Hi welcome Shiloh-Ann, we can not change from being an aspie, if we are we will always be one, there are 2 sets of people in this world you are either on the autism spectrum or not, but we are still as diverse and different as those that are not... just different able/minded
