was recently diagnosed well into adulthood (I'm 38 )

I love to joke around on forums, so Admin/mods, don't take what I say TOO seriously.

As my name suggests, I support creating an Aspie Atheist community so that we can litteraly "have our place at the table" in the AAI and other atheist organizations.

So go ahead.... ask me questions... I DARE you!! :-b

Hi,all up for a place of godless heathens... I have faith but only in myself and not in some mystical being or creation stories dreamt up by some bronze age tribesmen in the middle east who had no concept or understanding of the simplest of things. religion is something to laugh at and fair game for anyone who wishes to denounce any belief system without fear of being struck down or blown up by an angry deity or fanatic.. just make it funny in your denouncement...good to meet you all

Welcome! I, too, am an atheist aspie.

Aside from my atheism (lack of belief), I also happen to positively assert and believe that gods do not exist (though I make no claim to evidence, it is a personal belief made on judgement of society, psychology, and history).

Also, I lack belief in the most commonly accepted supernatural phenomena such as luck, afterlife, karma, and souls\spirits.

Legato, do you listen to The Non-Prophets or The Atheist Experience? The way you word your beliefs (which I agree with whole-heartedly) is very similar to something the host of these shows says. That's why I ask.
