Hello everyone, I'm Adam, 24 years of age, soon to be 25 from Staplehurst in Kent, England.

I was diagnosed with a "mild" form of Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 11.

One of the main goals in my life is to help raise awareness of Autism, and various other life changing conditions. Feel free to contact me with any questions, or if you simply wish to chat to a friendly Aspie.

Hi Adam and welcome to the wrongplanet. I too have Asperger's---diagnosed recently. I think you will like this site and find it most interesting. Good luck on raising awareness of autism---that is a very worthy cause. There are so many misunderstandings of it. I often do concerts involving hammered dulcimer in churches, and when I mentioned I had autism, many of those in attendance thought I was joking. It's like many people think if you are on the spectrum you shouldn't be able to function at all. Enjoy the site.

I commend you for pursuing such a career. Its ridiculous how much of a joke us aspies are considered.
