New person here - hello

I suspect that I might have Asperger's Syndrome but have not seen anyone yet about it. Been seen about other things like OCD plus anxiety and social phobia problems. Basically I'm gathering information about Aspergers right now to see if this is what's going on with me or if it's something else altogether.

Hi Dancer and welcome to the wrongplanet. I hope you are able to find out whether you are on the spectrum or not. In the meantime, enjoy this site and perhaps you will learn things from the posts to help you on your quest. Even if it is determined that you don't have AS, you are still more than welcome to remain as a member of the wrongplanet---there are many members here who are not on the autistic spectrum. I was diagnosed with AS recently. Enjoy the site.

There's a 'test' in the Members only forum. It's not entirely guaranteed, but it will give you a pretty good idea of whether or not. For an official diagnosis, you'd need to see a mental health worker

but there's always virtual room around here; draw up a chair and set a spell...
