Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking on this forum for some time now so I thought that I would sign up and introduce myself. I'm 17, I live in Australia and I'm starting a degree in psychology in a few weeks. I'm not technically AS but I was diagnosed as somewhat borderline and I have some of the typical AS traits (I've got poor social skills etc.) I thought it would be interesting to talk to some people with a similar mindset.
Hope to have some good conversations with you all.

Hi Dionysus and welcome to the wrongplanet. I am sure you will find this site informative and interesting. When I first went into college, I began majoring in math, then switched to psychology. Finally I ended up with a teaching degree in English. I taught English in high school for nineteen years---now I am a gifted intervention specialist. Good luck on the psychology degree---it is a fascinating area of study. It is interesting that you are placed on the borderline of AS. I was diagnosed as AS and I can safely say that although I survive fairly well in the world, I am classic AS. Enjoy the wrongplanet.
