Hi :-) I am an aspie,diagnosed with it only 2 years ago. I was 42 yo, i have, now the urge, to share it and talk with other people about this, at secondary school i was getting horrible grades, and now i speak 6 different languages and more than 10 dialects ( i am italian) i have problems in writing, but i am able to do amazing stuff,i play several instrument, am a photographer i do sculputure, and i am really good in math, computer and any kind of work which require attention to details. Now i am on pills,(effexor) and i noticed that my creativity is lower than it was, but, i am not so depressed as i used to be. I hope i can share this problems with others, coze sometimes it is really blody hard to hold on. :-)

Hi pippilongstocking and welcome to the WrongPlanet. I am 44 years old and was just diagnosed with AS this past November. Like you I also play several musical instruments. And like you---I have the urge to share and talk to others about AS.

Congratulations on speaking all of those languages. You have neat interests too. I hope you enjoy the WrongPlanet.

Hi, Pippi! There's also a member named Poopylungstuffing; now we have you to get confused with her! :) Welcome to WP! I feel lucky in a way that I was diagnosed young because I can now spend my whole life in the AS community. :) But late is better than never!
