Hi, this is my first post so I guess I should tell you all a little something about myself. Well, my name is Georgina (or George), I'm 18 and I'm from sunny ole' England. I was diagnosed with Aspergers a few years back. I also have OCD. I love animals, and I have a pet cat called Stanley, who I've managed to train to do tricks (even though I was told it couldn't be done). I also have foxes, and although they are free to come and go as they please, they know their names and come every evening (and often at several intervals throughout the day) for food. I do voluntary work for a local hedgehog rescue (which means I get to name the babies as they come in).

I'm a student at sixth form college, and I study geography, biology and ICT. I know British sign language, I have a deaf friend, so I learnt for him. I love to read, I am currently reading 'Goodnight, Mr. Tom'. My favourite book of all time has to be 'To Kill A Mockingbird'. I like to listen to music, my favourite genre is rap/hiphop, but my taste ranges from classical to heavy metal. I have a couple of friends, but I don't often meet up with them.

Before anyone else asks, yes, volvic is a brand of mineral water...but it was the first thing I saw when I was looking for inspiration for my username  and it has a refreshing sound to it. Haha.

I can't really think of anything else to say right now, but feel free to ask anything.

Volvic

Thanks, it seems like a really friendly place. I've always been really reluctant to join WP as it is such a big forum, but I felt brave today :)

Welcome! You seem quite interesting.
And you have foxes, that's just so damn cool.
Noobs unite :)

Hi, Volvic! There seems to be a HIGH concentration of Aspies in England; I'm thinking of living there for a while for that reason. So you can make a lot of friends and get out a lot more, meet up with people on WP, etc. We can be friends if you ant; PM me if you ever want to chat!

I love flavored mineral water, btw.

I have a pet chin chilla with the same name.

Cats will do tricks, but not for just anyone. Your cats must be very bonded to you to bother doing tricks for you.

Welcome to WP, Georgina! I love the work that you do with animals. That would be the place where I would love to be. :)

Yay, thanks for all the replies :D

Richie, where did you get that emoticon thing from? I can't see it when I click on the 'view more emoticons' button, it's so cool.
invisiblem0nsters, your avatar looks like a cross between Mr. Tumnus from Narnia and Brog the Stoop (a book I love reading). I have some pictures of the foxes if you would like to see.
Ana54, I would never turn down the opportunity of new friendship :)
pandd, is it true that chin chillas are heamophiliacs? Stanley only does tricks for me, he ignores everybody else. He follows me everywhere, and if I'm not at home at night, my mum has to ring me to talk to him on the phone to calm him down.
Umm, Eggman, what does 'Pwn it!' mean?
Jetlag, I love Snoopy. He is so cute! He is my favourite character, but I never understood why Woodstock was there, haha.
CelticGoddess, It is fun to work with animals, but it can be quite a big responsibility, especially when you are handling new born hedgehogs. Luckily though, the lady that I help is very experienced, so she knows what to do in every situation.

Hi volvic and welcome to the WrongPlanet. It sounds like you have an interesting life. I am trying to imagine the tricks your cat can do. Anyway, good luck with your future---it sounds like you have a wonderful life ahead of you. Enjoy the WrongPlanet.
