Hi,

I'm Chris, 36, in Flushing, NY. I've known something was different about me for a while but it wasn't until this weekend that I picked up a copy of MJ Carley's book and realized, "Hey, that's me!"

I'm into math, computers, chess, reading... you know, the classic activities for "introverts." I don't speak much- everyone has a filter which keeps them from saying tactless things (well, most people do); but mine filters out just about everything. I'm much better in text though.

Now that I (think I) know what I'm dealing with, I feel a little relieved. And some other emotions that I'm not good about articulating.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here.
