Hello! My sister told me about this site, so I figured I'd go ahead and sign up. I expect I'll be nosing around quite a bit, and if it turns out to be a good fit for me I'll be spending LOTS of time here soon - I'm coming up against a wall and I need a place to get "Waxy-compatible" advice on how to break it down.
I don't know if I am/have* Asperger's yet, but there's plenty of circumstantial evidence that I do, so here I am...
*I'm such a 'newbie' to the subject I'm not even sure of proper usage!

Anyway, ironically I always liked reptiles as a child, but when I was in my 'chatroom' phase a few years ago, I decided I needed a good 'ice breaker' handle - no social butterfly here, as you might guess... Anyway, I'd always liked stories of advertising mistranslations and have an odd sense of humor so I thought it would make a good fit.

[bows deeply] I'm perplexed about one thing - I see a thread asking "who on WP is cool". Now, I haven't read it, and I'm going to assume it's all in good fun. However, since I suspect I'm an "Aspie", and assuming that many if not most others had the same sort of fun childhood/adolescence I did, why in heaven's name would anyone want to post anything even remotely smacking of peer-pressure, social pecking orders and all that other baggage?
