Hi, and welcome.

I have a couple of questions for you. First of all, how old are you? Also, are you from Manchester, Vermont, or Manchester, England?

many US towns are named after their british equivalents. According to my research, there are at least 4 manchesters in the US/Canada.

Cities on the East Coast tend to named after British cities, or after British people.
Cities in the Midwest have either French or Native American names.
Cities in the West and Southwest have names that are Spanish or less often Native American.

At least that's what I overheard on a commuter train yesterday. The people talking about this didn't sound like they had AS, but this conversation was enlightening nonetheless.
