I'm new here so I want to say hi to everyone. I'm surprised that there is actually a community for us Aspies. I don't believe that we are inferior to NTs (I believe that's the proper acronym for non-autistic people - but correct me if I'm wrong). I just think that we see the world differently. We often have a hard time reading them, but they also can't read us. So whose more myopic? May be it's just we are in the minority.

you bring a lot to the forum, man. great to have you here.

when I obsess about dating/career/other NT priorities, I think your gf is the meaning of your life and that I am missing out by never having had the experience of dating and start to feel bad about myself. actually, though, Noam Chomsky says that one should live a "meaningful and constructive life" and one should rebel against "the new spirit of the age - gain wealth forgetting all but self."

Welcome to wp :-) Learning2survive, i can understand what you mean when u say about having a relationship is high priority to u. I was the same til afew months ago, please dont feel bad about yourself for anything, youll find the right person one day ;-)
