er flere skandinaver her inne også, men pass deg for svenskene! (de prøver å svenske folk)

it is very pretty. enlightened kitty. are you a scandinavian too? being scandinavian is an automatic bonus in life. its like being a fireman or a jetfighter pilot. just "hello, i am scandinavian!" "ooooooh!" 8)

thats cool, im a mixbreed bastard (in the technical sense) as well, norwegian, spanish, peruvian. my peruvian relatives (that would be on my dads grandpa-side), whoever they are, live in the slums of lima, im NEVER going there, cus i want to live
ive seen you-tube vids of the very neighborhood they live in, w gangsta rap in the background, and wallpaintings of "dead heroes" :I

scandinavian mentalities are kinda fun. i love how the automatic response a scandinavian gives you, if you randomly talk to them (like, stop them to ask for the time) is a strange and surprised fear. theyre so sensitive :]

Whoa, that does sound scary, I would like to be there and see it just because but you can't have one without the other so If I would go I would have to encounter the dangers as well.

Yah, it's kinda nice being mixed in a way since you have a sense of other cultures even if you don't want any part of them, you can understand people better knowing where they come from and what customs they are used to. But still I agree Scandinavians are sensitive and delicate people they make you feel welcome and treat you with kindness. They have a very similar likeness to aspie mentality hand in hand with the Japs. I'm happy I grew up in Swe (/a part of scandinavia). :)

Only disturbin thing was I get sick tremors from cold so if I failed to dress up I would bend like a pretzel. :(

I was in Gol skiing ones, I had never snowboarded before but I learned fast and 3 hours later my cousine takes me to the black slopes (a.k.a Dark abyss of ice and frost) I started out nicely but after I gained soem confidence and started going faster I got hooked on some kind of freak ice bump and flew about 15 meters forward shattering my shoulder, the next following days I was snowboarding on antibiotika and painkillers with one arm inside my jacket and blurred vision. I guess stupid animals never learn, but It was to damn fun to give up and sit in + I have a very high tolerance towards pain so I didn't mind, the pleasure is greater than the pain. :)

Haha, we totally kidnapped your welcome thread... *giggle* *giggle*

GASP!
you dislike being in norway? hm... i bet going to places, where the weather is better and everything (ever) costs less money, can do that to you :(

i prefer being broke and cold thank you!
*suffers with national pride!* :D

btw, sun in bergen? hm... must be stavanger, have you double-checked? in bergen they use "day-moon" whenever they talk about the sun, such a rare incident is it. 8)

soulcakeduck: i guess the best thing about being mixed, is that your more "automatically" open to different cultures. most people i know, even close friends, are mildly xenophobic. its just what theyre used to. im always the diplomat.
"look, if she says WANTS to wear a burqa, and means it, then telling her to take it off, would be like telling a european woman to take her shirt and bra off, simply because shes allowed to. cultures are different."
