I have seen this suggestion before in postings, and think it's a good one.

Many people like to post about dreams they have had, and other topics relating to meditation, buddhism, spiritual/mystical experiences, psychic experiences, synchronicity, synaesthesia, etc. These topics are usually very interesting to read, but get buried within the General or Random Discussion topics.

PPR seems to be mainly a debating forum, rather than a gentle exchange of experience, so it would be nice if the 'out of the unknown' aspects of life had a separate grouping, perhaps within the Topical Discussion area.

Thoughts/ideas/opinions anyone?

That'd be an interesting addition.

No. The subject of such things is too narrow to warrant a forum.

We need less topical/interest forums and more "helpful" forums, like a living skills forum maybe (cooking, finances, yada yada...)

I think you're making a mistake in assuming that more topical forums will lead to fewer "helpful" threads and comments. All it would do is relocate the current "mystical"-type threads. Likewise, I think it is a mistake to assume that creating forums for "helpful" topics will lead to more posts of this nature. Which isn't to say that I think it's a bad idea. No better or worse than creating the type of forum ladyrain is suggesting.

I would certainly frequent such a forum, but I expect it would be rather slow. Of course, so are many of the current topical ones.

It seems there is little interest in a separate forum.

However, there are several applicable threads around at the moment, so I thought I'd bump this to see if anyone else wants to vote.
