Sorry, I had to do that. Not everybody should be expected to know what AdBlockPlus is or how to use it. Plus there are cases when that's not an option. I'm just glad I don't particularly care about most ads, and the more annoying flash ones are disabled on iOS

Personally I like Alex's picture. I look like a wooden doll in some photos of me. There's one of me at someone's wedding, and literally my face was only one colour with no shades of light, like I was made of wood. And my head was stooped too. I looked like a bloody prick, and if you saw that looking at you on here, you'll probably have nightmares. :)

Yes, you can use adblockers, but I'm pretty sure you need superuser privileges in order to do so for some adblockers, if not all. I have one adblocker I use in particular for both my tablet and phone; it's definitely the best I've ever used. It's called AdAway. Google Play has taken off adblockers from the market, so you'd need to download them as apks from other apps (like fdroid) or by doing a Google search.
