Ok, this is really weird.

I was PMing with someone yesterday and ALL their messages have now disappeared.
As in NOT THERE.
I'm freaked out.

Solved it.

It was a PM that was deleted by the sender before I read it . My inbox was being literal when saying I had 1 unread PM , blimey , even my inbox has autistic traits :lol:

That (1) was starting to bug me :roll:

Does it show up in your inbox when someone you've blocked tries to send you a message?

I have blocked certain members from PMing me, so maybe that's it.
I feel strangely stressed over that, I'd rather it didn't tell me.
