I tried being nice, but since personal privacy is obviously not a concern for the people of the board, i have no other choice.

Mods can't delete or change names on accounts. Only Alex can and he doesn't read his emails from the mods anymore.

So before you go all stupid and spam the boards can you make this realisation please? There's nothing anyone can do.

Can you acknowledge this with an answer please?

Have you attempted to call Alex and politely discuss it with him. There is a method of doing this at the bottom of the web page. The site belongs to him. You can't make anyone do something other than ban new accounts as you come up with new IP addresses.

You are doing nothing to impact the individual that has the power to bring about the change you want by doing this.

I'm assuming the only reason this post is here, this long, is so someone might be able to try to influence you in taking the best action to achieve the result you want.

I think the issue may be that he doesn't have the time to delete every account or change user names. Obviously he must be pretty busy if he has not had the time to read emails from mods. The problem is by using this method of attention, if it is seen as successful others may attempt it also to get immediate results, instead of waiting to get an answer from the Alex.

I think the longer you do it, the less chance there is that you will receive the result you want.

We all use this site, at no expense, so we shouldn't expect anything other that what the rules of the site give as an expectation of using the site.

You are asking someone to go above and beyond what is required by the rules. The way you are going about it is not likely to be successful.

This is the second day in a row you've done this... under two separate names. Why on earth would you create another account if you want your first deleted due to privacy concerns?

Just ban him. He is a troll.

No, don't give in to the troll. I say just let him keep posting until he's bored.

I don't think he is a troll. He is just a person who wants his account deleted or name changed so he thinks he can force someone to do it. Not grasping the fact only an admin can do it or a mod with admin tools. Maybe he wants alex or TOGGI3 to delete it or change his name.


Maybe his other account was banned so he created that one.

He likes his first user name, uses it for other purposes on the internet, and doesn't like the fact that his wrongplanet posts are still associated with Prillix when he searches that user name with google.

He'll keep doing it with different IP addresses and different user names until he gets tired of doing it. If it is associated with OCD it could go on for a long time.

The mods could delete the posts and ban the account almost immediately. But, if this individual wanted to they could do it indefinitely as many times as they wanted to as long as they come up with new IP addresses.

If it keeps on eventually most will probably just ignore it like it isn't here.

I'm not sure if the owner can take legal recourse, but that might be an option if it gets out of hand. The owner has no legal obligation to either delete the account or change the user name, so in the long run the poster is harming his own goal by taking this course of action.

I was banned for making a second account so why cant he be banned.

Admin won't delete the account, either, although they do have power to change the name. Deletions mess up the software.

This second account will most likely be banned, and every duplicate account that he makes with a new IP address. As long as he comes up with a new IP address there is nothing stopping him from making a new account, indefinitely, unless legal recourse can be taken. I'm sure that would be a personal matter between the owner and the poster. If it were to happen chances are none of us would ever be aware of it.

In case anyone is confused on the concepts, FREE public message boards cannot and do not take responsibility for the poor choices posters may make in joining or posting. It is not the FREE site's obligation to protect the privacy of the poster; it is the responsibility of the POSTER to do that by being selective in name choices, posting details, and so on. Anyone who does not understand all the implications of posting on a PUBLIC site should not post. Expecting moderators and admins to clean up a mess they are not responsible for after the fact is simply not reasonable.

That was a very thoughtful reply, but I actually did know all of this already. I was hoping the OP would answer with what he thinks this will accomplish.

And yes, he is trolling whether he's a troll or not.
