First off... congratulations on your first thousand, eddiedog8!

Second... mods like to be able to be "normal" members, as well. Having too public a list would be a bit uncomfortable, for some.

There are more mods than people know about. It's handy when the board comes under attack, as happened last weekend. Having those mods listed would be silly.

The active mods all check here, in the WP Discussion forum, all the time, so posting messages here will get a reply pretty quickly - from some mod or mods.

If you really do need to contact a mod by PM, any one will do (generally speaking).

There is of course, the case of a new member who doesn't know who is a mod at all. I suppose it might be useful if the list of the active mods were shown more prominently, somewhere. The list is in the first post of the sticky "MODERATOR ATTENTION: how to get help when you need it".

You quoted the current list, copied out from the sticky. In the sticky, they are links. The sticky will be maintained, so quoting them here is pointless and misleading. Any not on that list are not ones you should try to contact, normally.

Misleading, because your list will shortly be out-of-date. I explained where the current list is, and will remain, and will be kept up-to-date.

Attempting to contact moderators not in that list may mean that you either receive no reply (because the person concerned is no longer a moderator, or does not regularly visit the site, for instance) or merely a reply asking you why you are not contacting one that is on the list.

No.

Seasoned moderators move to a semi-retired statis after others have been established to handle the hands-on day-to-day work.

Are there anymore mods besides the ones that were just listed. I have seen a few screen names and they say Moderator under them.

ed and nirrti_rachelle?

I have seen other names with the word moderator under their names but they haven't made posts in over a year. I know one of them passed away.
