Did the post on NTs lack of stimming disappear? I was gonna talk about how they seem to be unable to just be still.

Request title in this thread from "Netflix series 'Mo' - Actor is autistic" to "Netflix series 'Mo' - Autistic Palestinian refugee character". The claim in the OP linked article that the actor is autistic has been taken out, and IMDB is explicitly saying the actor is not autistic.

It may help to have a policy against starting lots of new threads in a section about similar themes within a shortish amount of time. For example in the Bipolar & Other Psych Conditions section I counted 13 threads on the first page started by the same user & they tend to be about similarish things. In L&D section I counted 11 posts on the first page all started by another user most of which are the same kind of theme. I know that the forum is slow these days but I wonder if those same kinda posts are bumping other posts with potential down & off the first page so they won't get noticed & seeing lots of posts from the same person about the same thing on the first page might discourage others from starting new threads there. They should NOT be given warnings but perhaps those posts could be merged :chin:

Thanks.

The multiple posts to L&D are being addressed with the member concerned.

It seems that most of those posts to Bipolar & Other Psych Conditions are pretty general and better located elsewhere, so I'll start moving them and will PM the member concerned.

I'll also look into expanding the multiple threads ruling that exists for PPR into something more general, and add it to the site rules.

I know I was guilty of starting LOTS of threads about the same stuff YEARS ago on here & I wasn't told anything about it by mods but it might of helped if I was  Make an announcement when the rules are updated. I should probably reread the rules every couple years anyways. I almost feel bad for suggesting extra work for you  Your doing a great job staying on top of things :D

Yep, it's very easy to go into a posting frenzy when joining (or even later!) and aside from addressing it in PPR, relatively recently, nothing much was said about it historically.
Some guidance is overdue in the rules and I'd like to address a few other things there too.

Don't worry about creating extra work - it keeps me off the streets, I guess.

Seems to be a scammer posting all over the place using two different names, pretending to be from Temu. I think it is a scammer, perhaps fishing scam. See some examples in the General forum

Yes - Temu spammers/bots pop up occasionally, making ridiculous 500 word-plus rambling posts that are unlikely to attract any customers possessing a functional brain. A recent variation is posting the same thing in German.

Many thanks to our members who reported the posts. :thumright:

Request merge this thread into this thread on same topic.

This thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=425878

Is getting a little mature rated in terms of sex and nudity for the standard Love and Dating section. I think maybe it would be better in the adult forum, perhaps?
