So you want me to say, it's okay, do whatever you want, you aren't feeling very good after all?

You're not special because you feel down. You can't swing a cat here without hitting someone who's depressed, suicidal, or has been there.

If you used WP for emotional support rather than as a combat zone then maybe we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I know it's not easy, but you should do something supportive of yourself for yourself, even if you don't give a crap about anyone else here.

I am not asking to be treated like I'm special, I'm asking not to be openly insulted by moderators. I don't get how one can equal the other.

I don't believe that having an attitude you dislike constitutes breaking the rules, so you can help by simply not openly insulting me on a so-called "support forum". That'd be brilliant.

I haven't insulted you, I've made comment on your behaviour, and you've taken umbrage to someone calling a spade a spade.

Your descriptions were insulting, there is no debate to be had about that.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that.

You're taking this matter quite lightly, but I'm certain that if I said that exact same thing about another member, I'd be warned that I was in violation of Wrong Planet rules.

BTW, would you describe my behaviour and manner as sociopathic? Genuine curiosity there. I've always wanted to be a sociopath :P

I think you're getting there.

Your manipulations are far too crude and obvious though

How so? In what area do they lack subtlety?

I'm not challenging or insulting you here, I'm genuinely asking.

Well, any art needs honing.

I don't want to be part of any training people how to be effective sociopaths.

I know, I'm just asking what areas I need to concentrate on.

Fair enough. I'll get a lot more practice assuming I stay alive for another 80 years anyway :P

Good day to you, sir.

thank you Moog, spongy, and emlion for explaining the situation. emlion, your words are powerful. Asp-Z i had tried to engage you in the debate but you refused to approach it intellectually. you dropped the debate and INSTEAD of continuing to try to discuss anything, you and another member posted sexist jokes as a form of comic relief, with no cerebral discussion about the matter. if you would like to have a discussion as to why you think sexist jokes are not sexist, that would be fine.

make no mistake that i am fully aware of what you did there. in the absence of any sort of scholarly debate, you trotted out some kind of jokes that unfortunately broke the rules. if you had posted jokes that didn't break the rules, i would have left them in place, so your silly little argument that it had anything to do with the debate is quite ridiculous. also, the fact that you WANT to be a sociopath explains eveything i need to know about you at this point. EDIT: spelling

I don't want to start another argument with you, but to be fair, I wasn't the one who started the joking idea, I just played along with another member who was trying to lighten the mood of the thread.

The fact that my behaviour is apparently sociopathic gives me a new found sense of purpose. I like it. Thank you, Moog :)

I kid.

You need to take some responsibility for your own actions, not blame others or your condition for your problems.

Oh, I take full responsibility for the joke I posted (well, I take full responsibility for the fact I posted it anyway, the joke itself was copy/pasted). I just wasn't the one to get the ball rolling is all :)
