I was rooting for you to be able to bring some change here - I might not necessarily agree with some details but a change has been imperative for too long now. It's sad to see you felt such drastic actions were your last resort and I fear some things will get worse now and more good people will leave.

They would be hypocrites to ban Agent_47 because they thought I was Save_Ferris , this has been part of Save_Ferris issue ( I wont discuss it here)

Have no fear , nothing will change here but I suppose that's the problem.

The dust has apparently settled.

The mod team is back, and normal forum operations can resume.

No , he had quit but was watching the inactivity of other mods, the reports were racking up and it felt like they were possibly on strike due to words exchanged in the mod room.

He decided to rectify the situation in the only way he knows how - humour

And all of you who don't think this is funny , guess again Mr & Mrs Ferris were rolling on the floor laughing .

And to XFG , it wasn't personal , he likes you and you are a great mod , it wouldn't of worked if he had excluded you , sorry

Farris and Ezra have a similar warped sense of humor so Ezra is amused.

I'm disappointed that there aren't more people thanking the moderator who tried to stop trolls, puppets and criminals from infiltrating Wrong Planet. That was his mission as a mod, and that's exactly what he tried to do. I'm shocked that people rushed to judgment about him based on one night when the pressure built up and he was clearly frustrated, feeling a lack of support. I'm surprised that people can't empathise with him, or at least forgive him for a meltdown. We all know how it feels to reach our boiling point. He has apologised and explained and tried to show the membership that there are criminals in our midst. I've yet to see anyone say thank you to him for the exceptional work he did, all the while being funny and compassionate and a dear friend to us all. I may not know all of the details because I'm not a mod. I mean no disrespect to anyone, but I do know Ferris well enough to understand his rage quit / ban and to have tremendous respect for everything he has contributed to this planet. His diligent work against trolls doesn't seem to be appreciated, validated, or believed, and that breaks my heart. He always gave people a second (or third) chance. It upsets me considerably that some members won't extend the same to him.

She seems to have abused her position. There is at least one instance when she locked a thread that was not in violation of any rules simply because she did not agree with what was being posted. She also seems to have actively opposed the other mods and unilaterally over-rode their majority decisions.

Otherwise, it seems to me that she would still have a lot to contribute to this website, but only as a regular member -- that's just my opinion, by the way.

If this is not addressed by a current mod and the truth be told ( as much as it can be as you are such a secretive bunch ) , I will be forced to reveal screenshots of the mod area conversations and other dubious decisions i.e what mods actually feel about some members (Save_Ferris has been capturing everything , he has been very meticulous since he joined the mod team ). Save_Ferris will not have Booya slandered especially by a member with Fnords standing.

That's what I do fear.

Hypocrisy is hardly rare.

Isabella, this is why I keep asking questions. Ferris did a LOT of good things outside the public eye, I don't see him as a mod went rogue and he wouldn't be the first to be wrongly depicted as such.

And I would indeed like to thank him for all the good work he did.

Bring back Ferris. I agree with Isabella.

It's not like they sign a non-disclosure 8O

There are too many secrets here - some are necessary, but some of the history here has been written with plain lies.

Obviously she locked your thread for reasons stated and then obviously someone overrode her and unlocked it then she relocked it.

I have been reliably told there is no such rule ( maybe part of the problem ? )

Just so you think I'm not bluffing , look what Ferris sent me

If you all would kindly grant me a few minutes, I'll write-up a summary of what happened.
