The submission deadline is the 20 January though, fairly soon, so perhaps that thread could be taken down on the 21 Jan and replaced with KenG's blurb about Autscape then? Just a thought/suggestion. :)
I still think that posting it on the homepage of WP will give more people the opportunity to view it.

Also, since there are 10 Stickys on the "General Autism Discussion" forum, then it may be better not to lock it if it is posted over there.

If Lau or I could get onto the front page, it would have been changed LONG, LONG ago, KenG.
What Discussion Group would you rather have the sticky on?

I don't know. Where would most people have an opportunity to read it?

I think having it in your sig works pretty well.. Maybe put another sentence into your sig about it?

Like:

AUTSCAPE 2010-- Give us your ideas!!
http://www.autscape.org/

Or something like that?
Maybe:

AUTSCAPE 2010-- If you haven't checked this out, you're missing out!
http://www.autscape.org/

Or:

AUTSCAPE 2010-- Be there or be square!
http://www.autscape.org/

It does as long as I'm a very active poster on WP, but I'm not a very active poster.

Why? Not enough time? Or trouble thinking of things to say? I find that on WP, I tend to have too much to say!

Not enough harmony. It seems I am on the wrong planet even on 'Wrong Planet'...
Oh, let there be harmony on this planet...

I wondered why you felt that way, so I went to your profile to see what was going on when you post.. and saw that most of your posts (well, I don't know about most overall, I didn't look at ALL of your posts, just the first two pages of posts) but that a lot of your recent posts have either been in PPR or the autism politics and media section.. charged topics-- there will always be arguing when it comes to politics.
Why not look for more benign topics to post in? It's always easier to stay out of arguments when you go with topics that people aren't already all wound up about. It also helps set the stage for other topics, lets people get to understand you before getting into anything heavy. I almost never go to PPR at all, it's just too intense. I actually did have one decent religion discussion on WP, but it wasn't in PPR. Politics and religion are always debate-y subjects... maybe you could think of some things to say in less argumentative sections? There's never going to be harmony in politics.

I never post about religion. The only politics I post about is the politics of the autistic community. I'm far from being an argumentative person, but I do try to post about subjects which contribute towards the advancement of the autistic community.

Well I didn't go stalking through all of your posts, I just skimmed over what was in your recent list of posts because I didn't know why you found too little harmony to post much. I wasn't saying that you were an argumentative person, but anything in PPR is an argument, as is a fair amount of what's in the Autism Politics section, because that stuff just hits so close to home. A lot of the other topical sections might be easier to just talk about things in.. depending on what else you're interested in, I guess. Or the social skills section, it can be nice to just see what confuses other people or what problems they have with things, and you can talk about what you do to cope with that type of thing, or just chime in that you have the same issue too. The more charged topics can lead to arguments no matter how non-argumentative you are. Plus, when people have been seeing you talk about, for example, what social skills issues bother you the most, or about why you love a certain novel, it helps them to feel like they know you as a person too.
