I forget if the original one with the sheen haters GIF had a large amount of text with it or not. Maybe it's a certain post size?

Even im unable to attach images
my paintings
its asking for some URL link
why cant i add direct image

The WP server does not store images. If you want to display images you need to link to them elsewhere. i.e. another site that is holding the actual image file. If you want to display images of your own creation you need an account with one of the photo or image hosting websites such as photobucket and post them there. You subsequently link to those images. That is the URL you are being asked to provide.
