There it went again, just now. When I was switching between forums. Back on Safari

Yeah, I don't understand why anyone uses IE anymore.

Less than 17% of people on Wrong Planet still use Internet Explorer.

Because it's the icon for the internet on my desktop. I'm familiar with it. I'm not good at technology at all and am very impressed with myself that I figured out that if it worked on the ipod it might be the browser, and then saw the Safari icon and tried it. That's a huge leap forward for me lol.

I'm an old lady, we aren't expected to know about computers. ;-)

But, I keep trying it in ie every few minutes and it's not working again.

Yep still IE issues. I also like IE since the font is better on my eyes. I tried changing the font on Firefox but it's just not the same. I was using Chrome for the longest until it wouldn't load Facebook so then I deleted that browser. Firefox is just so different from IE it's kind of hard to use (it's not what I'm used to is all.) :-)

it's less than that. Unfortunately it isn't a smaller percentage in which case I wouldn't even bother trying to make things work for IE.

I used IE a couple of times, but it always gave me issues.

Now I use Chrome. Big improvement.

17% is one in six members - that is really a significant number if you think of it that way.... if all of the applicable members were on right now that would be about 10,000. not really a small portion of the membership.

IE is the only browser i have at work, and it's even IE6 or something. it's not like i exactly have much of a choice, besides using my POS dumbphone (and you can imagine how well WP works on that).

What's stopping you from downloading a better browser through IE?
