Forgive me, you are quite right. I didn't feel there were privicy issues since you were asking in open forum essentially the same thing you had asked me in pm. Also, I shared with Alex primarily to document what I had said. Alex has access to everyone's privite messages.

Again, I apologize if you feel your privicy was violated. I've removed the only instance I could find from the thread, but if you find another, please let me know and I'll remove it too.

-Thanks,
Mark

It was an easy mistake to make considering the context.

Yes, I had the suspicion that Alex knows all, as in the words of Unknown, "he's God around here" :D I've no issue with that at all, it's his site - the logging systems on my site when it was fully functional made it like something out of Orwell's 1984.

I don't think there were anymore instances of PMs being shared, pretty sure that was it. Thanks.

Hey guys, I think it would be better if you continued this on via PM or somewhere else... if someone is banned or suspended, that should be between that member and the moderating team (with an occasional exception if they wronged anyone else to get them suspended). It shouldn't be out in the public for every member (and non-member) to read.

...at least, not without said user's consent. Im all for keeping it on the quiet for the sake of protecting the user-s privacy, but they should be able to appeal to the community if they so wish.

Agreed. Transparancy or lack of should be in the hands of the individual, not the power.

Could you please provide links/ quotes to andy1976uk's alleged offenses? Perhaps the community should decide by open vote, not just a handful of people, in private.

Its a dead issue. He had a meltdown. Now hes fine no one is talking about banning him anymore. Andy should request this thread be locked.

It's been resolved for a while now. I got flamed and due to my past experiences with bullying became so enraged that I retaliated several times over, so I was in the wrong. I should have taken it to a mod. My original issue was that I was facing suspension while the guy who originally flamed me seemed to be immune. I discussed the issue with Alex and we resolved it, no-one was suspended. In fact, MrMark; I wonder if it wouldn't make sense to delete/lock this thread or at least remove every reference to the confrontation so that this issue is allowed to be put to rest.

lol you beat me to it Machine :D

You're not the aggrieved party here, buddy. There are still insults you've not deleted about me on this site, and threats, too, I think. Just because I can behave with some decorum, does that mean I have no rights?

See what I mean folks? This issue was resolved and now the originator of the whole thing, the guy who attacked me completely out of the blue, comes back to reopen it all. Instead of trying to be civilized and asking me politely to delete remaining stuff, which I would have been very happy to do, he just flames. I'm pretty sure I removed all my comments anyway. This is also the same guy who has made all kinds of nasty racial/xenophobic/pro-BNP (a British NeoNazi political party) comments in another thread and I have witnesses to prove it incase you think of deleting them ascan. You reap what you sow "buddy". For reopening this closed and completely counterproductive issue I sincerely hope you get a suspension or ban.

When in doubt, I hesitate. This was a clear-cut case of name-calling and I deleted the posts.

I'm getting sick of this. All I said was that certain people in that thread shouldn't be mods. That's not against the rules, as far as I'm aware. I said it because you, and others, were giving Roman a hard time, and that included calling him an NT, if i recall correctly. It wasn't aimed at you specifically, but your behaviour demonstrates that it applies to you. You then went on to post lies about me, threaten me with physical violence, and generally insult me. Because I've kept quiet in order to let things calm down you've been allowed to paint the picture that you're some kind of victim in this. For god's sake grow up, man.

And if I want to support the BNP, that's up to me. They are a legal British political organisation. So, stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

However, I do consider this over, if you wish.

Again, complaints of rule violations should be delivered to mods. Personal differences between members should be attempted to be worked out privitely before involving the mods.

I was willing to let this go. However, you have reopened it forcing me to send a complaint to Alex. You are continuing to make provocative statements and you make several false statements in your post above about the events that started this whole issue. You make slanderous comments too - you are accusing me, in a public forum, of making false accusations against you. What are these false accusations I supposedly made???

You've deleted them. But MrMark has seen them, I'm sure.

Like I said, I consider this over. If you wish to run to Alex and make a big deal out of this that's up to you. I might get banned, but if I do I'm sure anybody who read the stuff you posted about me will find that quite bizarre.

That would be really uncool if Ascan and Andy1976uk were the same person. But I would not be surprised.

He asked me to. I was told not to deal with this kinda stuff on my own. You could have left it alone, but you came into this thread on the bounce with negative and untruthful things to say.
