Well...I admit that I am lonely, I agree that I am self-absorbed... I am also working on it because I don't want to stay self-abosorbed...
I would like to point out that of the over hundred postings that I made the ones regarding mainstream media are only the three. And I am not a fan of those pop icons...
I don't think I have endless plugs and interests in mainstream media....
Rather, my main interests are in plays, arts, and meditation/relaxation music...which doesn't seem to be shared by a lot of people around here...
And what do you mean by 'plugging'? I am not plugging anything here...
The way I see it is that, probably my lack of social skills made you feel repulsive?
I mean I understand that I am not greatly welcome here but at least I thought I was 'mildly' welcome...or at least I thought there was a possibility of coexistence...I thought I could be me here...

You are fine, just ignore this individual. I find the idea of posting such threads as this abhorrent regardless of personal views. Remember, this is just 1 person on a forum of what? over 9000...

I know that if I had of started this thread then I probably would be reacting exactly the same....

This thread can all teach us AS types a great deal.

1. We seem to hold onto ,being right, for longer than average joe NT
2. Our Brain Farts, get us into trouble.
3. The trouble we get ourselves into, takes admitting,,, which most of the time (me included) I just can't admit
4. Once we admit,,, my heart beat changes,,, it feels like I have 'put myself under' , or have just not been able to 'cope' with the reality of my mistake.
5. We are all idiioots - US and Them. -so let's just get together and hold hands (The aspies can just watch ... ehh I just had ashudder thinking about being in circle of hippies holding hands)

Sunnycat, don't let just one person get you down. Who knows, maybe they'll be gone by next week. And for the record, I can also be very self-absorbed so no problems there! You're a nice person and I hope you'll always stay that way.
