Alex, I just uploaded a new avatar and it appears to be showing up. I will now re-upload the one I want and hope that one shows up.

If you could fix the username problem too that would be great. It would be nice if my nickname would show up in the forum posts instead of my username. After all what's the point of having a nickname that doesn't show up anywhere but a profile page.

I just uploaded the same avatar again and it's now showing up. Thanks for the fix.

Yay!! ! I'm glad I found this post, it worked!! I now have my nutty dog picture! :D Though it is still showing the old location. :?

Suddenly my avatar is gone. I no longer have one uploaded. I don't have it saved on my computer anymore so that means I need to Google search & then crop it & shrink the size assuming I can find it again.
