I had to log out and log back in again to get my own profile back.

Edit: I just tried it again and Xavier's profile is back

You wouldn't have been able to change anything. This is likely a result of caching.

I don't really care if you can't change anything.
I don't want people seeing all my personal details.
I'm sure others don't want their details public either.
It's a security issue.

where are you clicking to get to your account? on "my account" at the top or on your username in the author panel on the left of the page?

I was clicking 'My Account'.
It's at the bottom of the page on mine.
I just tried going through the author panel and it came up with my profile.
Why is Xavier on the other one?

I would suggest users remove all personal information from their profile.
All I have now is my user name and email (required fields).

Btw I have sold all Xavier's details to a third party and stalked him on Facebook.
