Sometimes I get several ideas that are closely related to my post. I think it is more rude to have 3 different posts on the same idea then modifying the original idea a bit.

This should not be like school where if you do not hand in the test on time you flunk.

I guess my opinion is clouded by my current posting habits. I rarely try to make long posts as they tend to not make much sense, even to me. Any limitations will not always work for everyone.

People should learn to get their thoughts together before they click the 'Submit' button.

I mean ... do you people keep re-explaining something that you have already said? Do you keep calling meetings at work to re-re-repeat something you said in a previous meeting just because you want to make certain that you get every subtle nuance just right? Do you re-paint your rooms every day to get just the right color?

Of course, if you're all afflicted with some form of OCD, then you don't have to answer; but if you aren't, then why not either plan out what you're going to say before you say it, or just leave well enough alone?

Five hours is more than enough time to say what you want and get it right.
