I PM Comet to explain that post was not from you. This all makes me mad as I was in the process of trying to come up with some help for a person in the Haven. With my ADD I'm only just now remembering that. :(

Does that matter with this software?
I know with SMF, admins can't retrieve
a password, but only change it. This (which
ZOMG also uses) might not be so secure.

Indeed. But in addition,
I don't like major changes
in avies for others, so I avoid
them myself. Something like the
Golden Rule.

TM1, I'm sorry I helped make this happen.

I hope you remember what you were going to say; just relax and you'll remember it when you aren't trying to. :)

If you did frankly you should have seen it coming, but still this is reason to ban zOMG administrators for violating the privacy of a WP member. Also they will have a user agreement, so you could sue them.

I can see only one post for sure that was made by another IP. It was a post trashing Comet's forum. So he has a clear actionable case. If the IP can be traced to one of the admins of a competing forum site. Might even be criminal. The suspect made unauthorised access into a person's account that is widely liked on WP to use it to defame a competitor.

First, the site is not actually a competitor, it is clearly not that, a competitor site would claim to be a support family-friendly site for people and children with autism and asperger's, which is not the case, a site closest to that would be aspies for freedom, because of that. There are other sites for aspies as well who have been posted here, including the user ana54, doesn't seem to be a competitor site either. Thinking this objectively.

Second, making an speculation of ZOMG being responsable for this, I don't think that's fair, if it is based on dislike I believe that would lead to be subjective and not an objective view on the situation.

I don't know ana54, but I think she should be subject to doubt as well, as apparently she spammed zomg, and there were other spam attacks there which I saw and were deleted, which it made her suspicious about her and other users. If that the case then I would question her claims. If that user is really her or another person who would like the forum to die. So there is no only one way to see this.

If you have physical access to an encrypted password file you can crack it.

No. That doesn't explain it.
I THOUGHT you either didn't
want to reveal certain knowledge
that you had, OR were uncertain of
it's veracity ('twas true).

No need for falsehoods, no matter
how fond of them you are.

The precise same post I deleted is in the quote box in my
above post. I responed to your post then Greenblue's. I
ment to edit the one post. But I made a sceond post by
misstake. So I deleted one. Most people would just make
two posts in a row. I try not to do that type of extra spam
posting.
