Well, IF you have a secure pass,
there's pretty much no way of cracking
it, AFAIK.

I think it also may have been someone from zOMG actually; they changed the "Notify me of new PMs" thing from "no" to "yes" and my email got all these notifications in it because of it... they didn't hack my email address though, and it has an easier password... strange.

I told Alex that in the hopes that he won't think it's me messing with their minds and ban me!

Not necessarily. SHA1 has been broken but is still beyond the realms of being useful to criminals. phpBB uses MD5 anyway. But most security break-ins do not involve cracking. It is vulnerabilities, misdirection, lack of knowledge/common sense that put you at risk.

Ahem...it is not just happening to Ana as I've stated before it happened to me. That is why I had to keep changing my password so much that I forgot what it was and am unable to get back to my original account name :evil:

The ip addresses wouldn't tell that because the hacker would be signed on under the same ip as you used.

There is also the possibility that the computer you were on was set up to automatically store passwords without a prompt asking for that.

I had a problem with 2 former mods (who are close friends with Calandale) when they banned RichardBenson for some reason. Then someone tried to gain access to my pm's. I was promised an investigation but nothing was ever done about it and was consequently sweep under the rug.

Really? I actually thought it was called speculation/acussation, but the supernatural powers thing appealed to me more, I don't know, it seemed to have the same value.

The mailbox thing I already explained is just a glitch if somebody sends you a pm when you have nothing in your inbox or deletes it, or a similar type thing.

me, for no reason:

1. I have no friends. We're talking
