Is there an ignore button?

I'd rather be mature enough to resolve and argument rather to be ignorant plus I beleive it can teach people skills. That especially aspies can benefit from.

It's not immature to not want to read someones posts. There doesn't need to be an argument. Some people just generally annoy others.

I don't feel that it is fair to leave anyone with AS out. They already have anough trouble with experiencing rejection as it. This is supposed to be a supportive forum.

I don't think aspergers people should be treated differently to others just because the have aspergers. I wouldn't give a s**t if certain people put me on ignore, infact, I would welcome it.

No they should not feel they been treated differently but they should feel supported. Alot of people would feel offended being put on a 'delete button.'
Unless it is mutual I beleive it is counter-productive.

In most cases the person doesn't even know someone isn't reading their posts.

Unless the ignorer is stupid enough to tell them. In that case it's usually just attention seeking.

Well, we've settled our problems I think through personal talk.*
But I do believe an ignore function would be nice. I doubt I would have the heart to ignore most people for very long, anywho... As aspies I think some of us know some times we need some time away from certain people, in order to maintain relationships.

I'd like to add my interest in an ignore button.

Some people annoy me too much, i don't want to say something i'll regret, and some people I just don't like. I think it will be beneficial to both parties.

Well, I'm happy I'm not the only one that wants an ignore button.

I used to use it when they had one. I might look into that thread about how to restore it thru your browser, but not tonight. That's a pretty good option. There's just people who get on your 'wick', or on your 'tits' is what I think the Brits say.

Fortunately, I have the maturity to not let others pathetic insults and immaturity get to me. However, in regards to your comments about gang rape -I re consider.

Using the greasemonkey script just blocks out what the person write, but their screen name still shows up and what not. I guess it's better than nothing.

Yeah that's all the previous 'ignore' function they had here did. Also if someone quotes them, you'll see their comments in quotes. It does however block their avatar and there's some avatars here I just don't want to see.

this is a support forum, Belladonna, that means YOU have to be supportive, too. It does not mean that people only need to be supportive of you.

Do you understand that the support goes both ways? I would like to see a bit more support of others from you.
