Such as dishonestly applying (or threatening to apply) labels such as "racist" or "white supremacist" if you don't vote as "expected", have a different understanding of something, or try to make an analogy, with the associated stain to a person's character\integrity that those terms convey, and the public's impression\reaction to those so labeled?

Or following a member somewhere that is designed for those having issues coping with probelm(s) to further heap pain and stress on that person?

i still believe one can take issues head-on and nobody has chained us to stop us from typing and challenging or debating or putting across our points of view. which is being done anyway surely. unless one has no rational backing, and cannot do it-- that is not forbidden here.
have seen actual racial slurs and allegations called out and challenged head on as well, and this is far less.

At least that would amuse us. I don't give a fig what political leaning anyone has here. It doesn't affect how I respect you or like you in the least. Nobody has a clue what my political leanings are because for me people are ultimately more precious than political labelling and compartmentalizing, and resolving conflicts is far more productive than instigating them.

Monty Python is entertaining. This thread isn't. Just people trying to outdo each other in moral superiority, which is nothing new.

There is a big difference between "people trying to outdo each other in moral superiority" and people trying to defend their (and other's) character, integrity, and reputation against libelous statements.

Once again I've spent over an hour catching up on the thread. I'd better scratch sleeping off my "to do" list and keep vigil during the night...

@Teach: i'm sure Blooie meant the "British Judge" thing as a joke - I found it quite funny picturing the way this British juror woman would speak. Thanks for brightening this thread sorely in need of humour.

There are no members of WP that I dislike, am prejudiced against or would refuse to listen to. Every voice should be heard. This is our Agora.

Progress is being made with additional mod selection. I do feel Alex was in the wrong with his assessment of a certain member here. Most of his other comments have been fine. We are all in a learning process and can learn from each other. Healthy debate is to be encouraged but I need to reiterate that personal attacks aren't tolerated. We can delete or edit text, but sometimes further action may be needed - not to punish but to teach and guide. Sorry - that sounds a bit patronizing but not sure how to phrase it better! I am always approachable by PM and if offline will see it later. With only three active mods who have offline activities to see to, it will be better when some from different time zones are appointed.

I don't think it's anywhere at the point where anyone's limbs are endangered, but we can prevent that from happening by catching problems and misunderstandings early rather than when the paraffin hits the curtains.
